We feel that we aren’t alone in wanting our technology to support our humanity. So as a way of finding more humans like us, we have created a group meditation app to help us connect in real time despite all that divides us.

Why group meditation?

  • We are social beings, we need each other.
  • Social isolation is rampant and the effects are devastating.
  • Communal co-regulation is peace made possible.

As our eyes open to how intricately woven into the world we are, the weight of loneliness lifts and a fuller version of ourselves blooms.

In this way, we move forward with what makes us human and invite others to do the same.

Resisting the urge to isolate we stay engaged with our emerging world and practice Intentional Tech; a meditative approach to tech creation that yields conscientious apps and devices in support of human connection.

Intentional Tech goes deeper than a final product or even a design strategy. Making tech that serves (rather than consumes) takes time. It’s slow. Sometimes it stops altogether if that’s what the humans making it need.

Our creative process is a living thing that we nurture into being. It allows us to bring more of who we are into our lives and the lives of those we touch. There is no manual for how it’s done, we are writing it with our daily efforts to Be Unison.
